Would you like to make a difference in someone’s life? We are currently looking for compassionate, caring and dependable caregivers to provide in-home non-medical care to our senior clients. Many of our caregivers are active seniors themselves who develop long-term, satisfying relationships with our clients.
Advantage Home Care hires only individuals who pass criminal, drug and motor vehicle background checks with stellar marks. We provide extensive training and offer full or part time positions with flexible hours.
We employ kind and caring people who love to serve the elderly in need. Duties vary depending on the individual client’s needs but typical duties may include;
Companionship and conversation Read, watch tv, supervise household maintenance, mend clothes, iron, arts & crafts, pet care, sort bills/organizational projects, engage with client’s interests and hobbies.
Light Housekeeping Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, dishes, clean bathroom & kitchen, making beds, laundry.
Meal Preparation Grocery shopping, cooking, encourage healthy & well-balanced meals.
Mobility Assistance Assist with walking, light exercise, encourage client to be as independent as possible. *Some clients may use walker or wheelchair
Incidental transportation and errands Accompanying clients to and from appointments, shopping, community events, and activities.
Personal Care Assistance/Incontinence (Not all clients require) Assisting client with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as needed. Encouraging proper & healthy hygiene.
Other requirements of a Caregiver Employee must have personal working cell phone, email, an internet connection and a vehicle in good working condition.
Caregivers must be dependable, on-time, & professional.
