Advantage Home Care LLC is independently owned and operated and serves Portland, Maine and its surrounding communities. We are a State of Maine registered personal services agency whose mission is to provide in-home services to aging adults who need assistance to remain independent in their homes. Information We Collect
We collect both personal information and non-personally identifiable information through the Site in order to help us to learn more about how our visitors use the Site and to measure areas of interest. Collection of information allows us to build features and functionality that will enhance your experience. You are not obligated to provide us with personal information in order to use the Site. However, we do require that you register and provide certain personal information in order to send us inquiries, to receive information about our services and fees, to request information or apply for employment or to subscribe to our blog, and to leave comments on our blog.
Collection of Personal Information
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

In addition, we use security software called Wordfence to secure all pages used for inputting users’ Personal Information. However, due to the open communication nature of the Internet, no system can be completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information.

How we protect your data
Best practices and industry standards are used to protect your data. We use security software appropriate to the WordPress platform and provide daily scans of the Site for security breaches.
In addition, a VPN or Virtual Private Network is used at all times when working with the information from the Site.
